Letter of Appreciation

To: Volunteers of America Headquarters and Board of Directors

I would like to take this opportunity to share my gratitude and express my deepest thanks to the Volunteers of America Transitional Housing program. My experience during my year at the Mansfield Volunteers of America was, in my case, a life-saving event. The program is there for men like me at the right time.

I was able to take the required time needed to work a 12-step program that has literally turned my life around for the better.

The guidance and sincere concern, coupled with all the necessities provided through the staff and Volunteers of America, provided me with the shelter that I needed for recovery of 32 years of alcoholism and drug addiction.

I cannot share enough my gratitude to the director, Marti Smith, and the case managers of the Mansfield Volunteers of America! Their sincere concern and dedication to your mission is of the highest standards. I was guided to all the necessary establishments for my needs and assisted in any and all means to help me achieve my goals.

Once again, I applaud and credit the staff and Volunteers of America for being the sole provider that turned my life around, making myself the better and humanity in kind.
